Our challenge We are seeking a skilled React.js Developer with working experience in Python programming to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using React.js, while also contributing to backend services, APIs, automation, and integrations developed in Python.

Additional Information: *The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $105k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance responsive web applications using React.js. Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance UI components. Translate business requirements, wireframes, and designs into functional user interfaces. Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. Work with databases and support data retrieval, processing, and validation. Collaborate with backend developers to design and implement efficient application functionality. Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and reusable code. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and performance issues. Participate in code reviews, contribute to development standards, and best practices. Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests. Use Git for source control and participate in Agile/Scrum development processes. Support application deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance. Stay current with emerging frontend and backend technologies.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.6+ years of professional experience in React.js or frontend development. Strong knowledge of React.js, Java Script and/or Type Script, HTML5 and CSS3, Responsive web design, State management concepts, such as Redux, Context API, or similar and RESTful API integration Understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles. Experience working with Git and code collaboration workflows. Basic knowledge of SQL and relational or NoSQL databases. Ability to debug issues across frontend and backend systems. Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills: Experience developing or consuming APIs using Python. Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, PyTest, or similar. Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. We offer: A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
