About the role

Turquoise Wealth Management | Remote | Lafayette, Indiana Full-Time | Experienced | CFP® Required
The Opportunity: Turquoise Wealth Management is seeking an experienced CFP® professional to lead relationships with high-net-worth families. This is a client-facing advisory role for someone who loves financial planning, enjoys building long-term client relationships, and wants to focus on advising rather than prospecting. You will not be expected to build your own book of business. We're also looking for someone who is excited by growth. Turquoise is an established independent wealth management firm entering an intentional next stage of growth. We are building the team, systems, and capacity to serve more families while preserving the highly personal advice and client experience that got us here. For the right person, that creates an unusual opportunity: join a smaller firm now, take meaningful responsibility early, and help shape the firm we are becoming.
What You'll Do: Serve as lead advisor for assigned high-net-worth client relationships. Lead client meetings, ongoing financial planning, and implementation of recommendations. Identify planning opportunities across retirement, tax, estate, insurance, charitable giving, and investment strategy. Coordinate with clients' CPAs, attorneys, and other professional advisors. Work collaboratively with our advisory and client-service team to deliver a highly personal and responsive client experience. Exercise sound judgment and take ownership of client needs from identification through resolution. Contribute ideas, leadership, and experience as we build the next stage of Turquoise.
What We're Looking For: CFP® certification.5+ years of financial planning or wealth management experience. Experience leading relationships with affluent or high-net-worth clients. Strong financial planning knowledge and the ability to recognize opportunities across a client's entire financial picture. Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to make complex financial decisions understandable. Sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong follow-through. A collaborative, team-first approach. High integrity and a genuine commitment to putting clients' interests first. An interest in helping build something — not simply filling a seat in an established organization. Experience working with business owners, executives, physicians, multigenerational families, or other clients with complex planning needs is a plus.
Compensation & Long-Term Opportunity: Base salary of approximately $130,000–$160,000+, depending on experience. Quarterly bonus program.401(k) with company match and additional profit-sharing contribution. Comprehensive benefits. Professional development and continuing education support. Increasing leadership opportunities as Turquoise grows. A path to ownership for exceptional long-term team members who demonstrate leadership, sustained contribution, and commitment to the firm. We intend to build an enduring independent firm, and we believe the people who help us build it should have opportunities to grow with it — professionally, financially, and, for the right leaders, as future owners.
Location: This role is open to remote candidates throughout the United States. We are headquartered in Lafayette, Indiana, and would be especially excited to find an outstanding candidate who is local or interested in joining us here in person. But geography will not stand in the way of hiring the right person.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
