About the role

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in functional safety engineering (7–10+ preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Safety PLC systems and programming
  • Proven experience in safety circuit design, review, and validation
  • Experience conducting safety audits and compliance assessments
  • Functional Safety Certification (e.g., TÜV Functional Safety Engineer / FSE)
  • Strong understanding of:o ISO 13849-1o ANSI B11o OSHA standards
Education Requirements:
  • Technical associate’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field
  • Functional Safety certification (FSE / TÜV) is required.
Nice to Have: (Preferred Skills):Experience with risk assessment tools Knowledge of FMEA / FMEDA methodologies Hands-on experience with Safety PLC platforms such as:
  • Allen-Bradley Guard LogixOmron Sysmac Safety
  • Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7 (Safety)
