Job Description:
A Lawn Worker is responsible for maintaining the health, appearance, and safety of lawns in residential, commercial, and public spaces. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of lawn care equipment and horticultural practices. The Lawn Worker plays a key part in creating aesthetically pleasing and well-kept outdoor environments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and aerating of lawns
- Operate and maintain lawn care equipment and tools safely
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides according to guidelines
- Identify lawn diseases, pests, and weeds and take appropriate actions
- Ensure proper irrigation and drainage for lawn health
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment after tasks
- Assist in seasonal lawn preparations such as seeding and mulching
