About the role
- Lead day-to-day project operations, field coordination and project personnel
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget and cost performance
- Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, engineers, owners and other project stakeholders
- Plan construction sequencing, manpower, equipment and material requirements
- Manage change orders, project documentation and contractual requirements
- Forecast labor, equipment, material and management costs
- Oversee job costing, accruals, revenue projections and overall project financial performance
- Identify and resolve field, schedule and constructability issues
- Develop and manage Project Engineers, Cost Engineers and project support staff
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements
- Underground utilities
- Power transmission infrastructure
- Electrical duct banks
- SubstationsUtility relocations
- Major roadway infrastructure
- Bridges or tunnels
- Large-scale excavation and civil site work
- Direct field and construction execution experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with New York public agencies is a plus
- Strong understanding of project cost controls, scheduling and subcontractor management
- Experience with P6, Procore, HCSS and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership of complex project responsibilities
