Job Description:
PRIDESTAFF is currently accepting applicants for an EXPERIENCED Commercial Field Glazier in the Waveland MS area. The Commercial Field Glazier installs, repairs, and replaces heavy architectural glass and metal framing systems on commercial construction sites. This position would also be considered as an Aluminum Storefront Fabricator. Shop work is in a clean, modern fabrication facility in Hancock County MS.
Job Responsibilities:
Read Blueprints: Follow architectural drawings to determine aluminum frame design, glass types, sizes, thicknesses, and frame locations. Install Frameworks: Erect pre-assembled aluminum framing and storefront systems using hand and power tools. Handle & Set Glass: Guide heavy glass panels into place using suction cups, and slings. Weatherproof & Seal: Apply gaskets, weather stripping, and structural silicone sealants to prevent air and water leaks.
Prefered Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of Glazier experience. Must be open to some travel to conduct field layout site surveys and lead occasional installations. Must be reliable, dependable and possess a Valid Driver License.
