Job overview:
- A Boat Lift assembler is responsible for constructing and assembling various components to build our lifts start to finish, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Our Assemblers inspect materials, products, parts, and equipment to detect defects and malfunctions.
- Additionally, they may operate forklifts, use various manufacturing tools, perform manual labor for key tasks in building products, and follow safety guidelines standards.
- Boat Lift Assembler requirements:
- Reading and comprehending instructions and following established procedures.
- Collecting all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
- Taking precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy parts, tools and machinery.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to operate various tools and machines.
- Basic computer skills such as emailing.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts.
- Follow technical instructions.
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
- Follow company procedures and directives.
- Test finished products for defects.
- Maintain the tools used to create products.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- Cross-train and work in other departments as needed.
