Role Description:
The Marketing and Communications Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Raleigh, NC, responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing and communication initiatives. This role oversees the creation of content for press releases, email campaigns, social media, and internal communications to strengthen brand awareness and support business objectives. Day-to-day tasks include managing marketing projects and timelines, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. The Manager will analyze campaign performance, recommend improvements, and align strategic communications with organizational goals. This role also involves supporting leadership with communications planning, maintaining media relationships, and contributing to events and promotional activities.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, including the ability to craft clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.
Experience producing press releases and working with media or public relations professionals.
Demonstrated expertise in marketing communications, including content development for digital and traditional channels.
Background in strategic communications, with the ability to plan and implement integrated communication strategies.
Proven project management skills, including organizing tasks, managing deadlines, and collaborating across teams.
Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to optimize campaigns.
Proficiency with common marketing and communication platforms (e.g., email marketing tools, social media, CMS software).Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Ability to work on-site in Raleigh, NC, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
