Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.ResponsibilitiesConduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelinesMonitor, record and inspect progress on construction projectsCoordinate field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testingReceive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progressPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsTechnical school or Associate degreeSome demonstrated experience in construction inspectionAbility to interpret construction schedulesRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentExperience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamThis position typically requires successfully passing drug‐screening procedures prior to being hired; thereafter subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testingAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‐owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
