Job Summary: The School of Music is seeking a qualified instructor to teach undergraduate students at the university. The qualified candidate will be committed to teaching excellence, innovation, and program development. Responsibilities Teach course(s) assigned to the instructor Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships Ability to work independently
Required Qualifications: Southern Nazarene University is an expression of the Church of the Nazarene. Understanding of the importance of diversity, inclusion and equity Master’s degree in music or at least 18 hours toward a graduate degree in music Minimum of two years of related work experience and/or relevant training Possess strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple demands in fast-paced work environment Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in music Experience teaching at the university level Evidence of the ability to recruit and retain quality students
