About the role
- Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and peer leadership to Data Coordinators
- Assist with workload balancing, study assignments, coverage planning, and prioritization of high-risk data work.
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and competency development for new Data Coordinators.
- Keeps current all applicable patient reporting and tracking functions
- Extrapolates data, completes case report forms, and ensures timely data submission in accordance with SOPsActively prepares for and participates in monitoring and auditing activities.
- May assist with screening patients for potential study enrollment
- Assists with patient scheduling for procedures required to maintain protocol compliance
- Assists with coordinating patient follow-up visits and timely data submission
- Maintains research records in a confidential manner according to all applicable regulations
- Orders and maintains research supplies
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate degree in healthcare, life sciences, business or a related field, bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent clinical research experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical research data management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required
- Minimum of one year experience as a data coordinator required
- SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred
