Job Description: We are seeking a Progressive metal Stamping Press Operator to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.
Responsibilities: Lead 2nd shift stamping production daily tasks, support other operators Support shift training programs. Oversee assigned die, press and auxillary equipment for all production following quality procedures, safety procedures, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment when necessary Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion, such as achieving noted production speed Load metal and unload product using assigned equipment and materials Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency Conduct routine preventive maintenance in the work area Log and record readings for product quality and metal consumption using assigned equipment and procedures
Qualifications: Previous experience operating progressive high speed 22-75 ton high speed stamping presses, notably Bruderer, Minster or Perkins Familiarity with plant tools and equipment Strong verbal communication, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Ability to handle physical loads up to 50 pounds Ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment 2nd shift pay premium offered (10%) \nCompany
