Role Description: The Front Desk Receptionist is a part-time, on-site role based at Brava Dance Center in Rye, NY. This role involves greeting students and families, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and providing accurate information about classes, schedules, and studio policies. Day-to-day tasks include checking in students, processing payments, managing basic clerical responsibilities such as filing and organizing documents. The Receptionist helps ensure the lobby and front desk area remain orderly and welcoming, and supports instructors and management with administrative needs as required.
Qualifications: Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and warmly with students, families, and staff. Phone etiquette and receptionist duties experience, including answering calls, taking messages, and directing inquiries appropriately. Clerical skills such as data entry, basic record keeping, organizing files, and handling payments accurately. Comfort working in a family-oriented, arts-focused setting; prior experience in a studio, school, or community center is a plus. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email, scheduling tools, and office software. Availability to work part-time on-site in Rye, NY 3:00-8:30 Tuesday-Friday
