Unloader Are you looking for a physically active role that contributes directly to a sustainable future? We are seeking a dependable Unloader to join our clients team at our state-of-the-art anaerobic digestion and organic recycling facility. You will play a vital role in the mission to divert food waste from landfills and transform it into renewable energy. Responsibilities: Material Handling: Safely unload organic waste and feedstock from incoming trucks and trailers using various industrial equipment. Depackaging Operations: Monitor and assist in the operation of depackaging machinery to separate organic material from packaging. Quality Control: Inspect incoming loads for contaminants (plastics, metals, glass) to ensure the integrity of the recycling process. Documentation: Accurately record weight, material type, and origin for all incoming shipments. Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, performing routine wash-downs and equipment cleaning as needed. Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and following strict Lockout/Tagout procedures. Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, agricultural, or industrial setting is preferred.

Technical Skills: Ability to operate a forklift, skid steer, or similar heavy machinery (certification is a plus).Physical Stamina: Ability to work in varying weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and remain on your feet for extended periods. Reliability: Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and teamwork.
