Licensed Massage Therapist at Elysian Spa at In VogueJob Description Elysian Spa at In Vogue is seeking a talented, professional, and guest-focused Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing spa team. Elysian is a luxury day spa designed around relaxation, wellness, and exceptional guest experiences. Our spa features a relaxation lounge, eucalyptus steam room, Himalayan salt sauna, showers, couples services, and thoughtfully designed treatment spaces where our guests can truly step away from everyday life. We are looking for a Massage Therapist who not only provides an excellent massage, but also understands that the entire guest experience matters - from the moment a guest enters the treatment room until the moment they leave feeling relaxed, cared for, and eager to return. Responsibilities: Provide customized massage services based on each guest's individual needs, preferences, and areas of concern Perform modalities such as Swedish, therapeutic/deep tissue, prenatal, hot or salt stone massage, and other techniques within your training and scope of practice Consult with guests before each service to discuss pressure preference, areas of focus, contraindications, and treatment goals Create a relaxing, professional, and comfortable experience throughout every appointment Maintain appropriate guest documentation and treatment notes Follow all New York State licensing, sanitation, safety, and professional standards Maintain a clean, organized, and beautifully presented treatment room Work collaboratively with our massage therapists, estheticians, nail professionals, stylists, and spa concierge team Educate guests on appropriate massage enhancements, follow-up care, and future services when beneficial Help create the warm, welcoming level of hospitality Elysian Spa is known for Encourage guest retention through exceptional service and personalized care What We're Looking ForCurrent New York State Massage Therapy License Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic massage techniques Ability to customize services rather than provide a one-size-fits-all massage Professional, dependable, and guest-focused Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while also being part of a team Comfortable working with a variety of guests, from those seeking pure relaxation to those seeking relief from muscle tension and discomfort Experience in a luxury spa, resort, wellness, or high-end salon/spa environment is a plus, but not required Additional massage certifications and specialty modalities are welcomed Why Elysian Spa?
