Box Office Manager This is a Part-Time Position with an hour rate of $16.23.
Position Summary: The Box Office Manager provides customer service and supports box office operations during scheduled events. This position is responsible for accurately handling and counting money while maintaining a pleasant and professional attitude when interacting with the public. Position schedule is six weekends (Friday thru Sunday) for several hours each evening or afternoon) spread out during the course of the school year. About the College SJR State is a public college located in beautiful northeast Florida along the shores of the St. Johns River. With three campuses in Clay, Putnam, and St. Johns counties, SJR State serves nearly 10,000 students each year from among a population base of 600,000 in one of the fastest-growing areas of the country. Known for its natural beauty and quality of life, SJR State's service area includes St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city; Palatka, the "Gem City of the St. Johns;" and Orange Park, with roots going back to the Spanish period in Florida history.
Duties and Responsibilities: Ticket Sales and Cash Handling Assist with ticket sales during scheduled events. Accurately handle and count money associated with ticket sales. Maintain accurate transactions while assisting customers. Customer Service Provide pleasant and courteous service to the public. Assist customers with ticketing needs and routine questions. Maintain a professional attitude during all interactions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must successfully complete employment/reference verification and a background check. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to accurately count and handle money. Strong customer service skills. Ability to interact pleasantly and professionally with the public. Ability to work scheduled evenings and afternoons on weekends.
