About the role
Head of Business Applications – CRM, FSM & CPQ Location: Remote with international travel when needed Benefits: Bonus, strongly enhanced pension, hybrid working, international exposure, long-term career progression Our client, a leading global industrial manufacturing organisation, is hiring a Head of Business Applications to own the strategy, leadership and evolution of its core sales, service and commercial platforms, including CRM, Field Service Management (FSM), CPQ and eCommerce. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for enterprise applications, covering product strategy, team leadership, partner management and budget ownership across a complex, global environment.What you'll doOwn and lead the enterprise application strategy for CRM, FSM, CPQ and eCommerce platforms Define and deliver a multi-year roadmap aligned to business growth and digital transformation Lead, develop and mentor a global team of product and application specialists Manage global implementation partners and vendors, ensuring performance and value delivery Own platform investment planning and budget management Act as a senior technology and business partner to sales, service, operations, IT and digital teams Drive user adoption, standardisation and data integrity across global platforms Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security and governance standards Oversee platform evolution, deployment and continuous improvement What we're looking for Extensive experience leading enterprise business applications in a global organisation Strong background in CRM, FSM and CPQ platforms, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments Deep knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (CRM, FSM) Experience with Oracle‐based quoting / CPQ solutions Proven leadership of global, culturally diverse, hybrid teams Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non‐technical audiences Experience managing strategic partners, suppliers and multi‐million‐pound budgets Product‐led mindset with a focus on value delivery, adoption and long‐term strategy The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong product instincts, comfortable setting direction while remaining close enough to execution to drive real‐world outcomes.
