Senior Automation Architect

What You Will Do: Architect, build and evolve the automation framework using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and Gherkin Set up and maintain Selenium Grid for parallel, cross browser and cross platform execution Configure and run automated regression suites through Jenkins CI/CD Build API test automation for REST and SOAP services using REST Assured and Parasoft Partner with the integration team to run automation in the Integration environment Mentor and train testers so they ramp quickly on the framework and project standards Lead Agile ceremonies, including serving as Scrum Master when needed Required Master’s and 5+ years, Bachelor’s and 7+ years, or 13+ years of experience in lieu of a degree Strong core Java development skills Experience designing Selenium frameworks with JUnit or TestNG and Maven Hands on Cucumber and Gherkin: Features, Scenarios and Step Definitions in a custom framework Selenium Grid setup and maintenance Jenkins CI/CD for automated regression suites API test automation with REST Assured, Parasoft or SOAP UI SQL against PostgreSQL, DB2 or Oracle to validate test results Deep knowledge of BDD and TDD Prior experience acting as a Scrum Master on an Agile software team Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust Willingness to work onsite in Woodlawn, MD five days a week Preferred Parasoft for functional testing, API testing and service virtualization Playwright (preferred), Cypress or UiPath Git/Stash pull request workflows, VersionOne (Agility), Confluence, SonarQube, Checkmarx AWS or Docker, including running tests in containers AI assisted test automation, self healing frameworks or synthetic test data generation Prior federal agency experience Interested or know someone who would be a strong fit?
