The Opportunity: An established New York City general contractor is looking for an experienced Superintendent to oversee high-end residential interior projects across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. The work is varied and technically demanding. Projects range from full gut renovations and major apartment transformations to townhouses, brownstones, penthouses and bespoke private residences.
What You'll Be Doing: Lead day-to-day field operations from demolition through closeout Manage high-end gut renovations and interior build-outs Coordinate subcontractors, specialist trades, vendors and deliveries Manage sequencing across MEPs, millwork, stone, cabinetry and finishes Coordinate drawings and resolve field issues early Maintain schedules, quality control, safety and NYC site requirements Oversee punch-list completion and final turnover
What We're Looking For: Proven NYC Superintendent experience Strong high-end residential renovation/interiors background Full gut renovation experience preferred Strong knowledge of trade sequencing and interior construction Experience with custom millwork, stone, cabinetry and high-spec finishes Comfortable managing complex, detail-heavy NYC projects Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills High standards for craftsmanship and finish The Package$130,000–$180,000 base salary, dependent on experience, alongside a competitive benefits package and long-term opportunities.
