Production Supervisor

WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Lead, motivate, coach, and train production employees• Supervise multiple departments and production teams• Ensure employees are properly assigned and production areas are adequately staffed• Maintain a consistent and efficient workflow throughout production and soil sort operations• Monitor daily safety, quality, productivity, and labor performance• Use production metrics and performance goals to improve results• Conduct daily and weekly coaching with employees• Train new employees on company procedures, safety standards, and job responsibilities• Work closely with HR regarding hiring, training, attendance, and employee performance• Approve PTO and employee leave schedules• Monitor production performance and report results to management• Coordinate equipment repair needs with the Maintenance Manager• Maintain plant cleanliness and organization through proper 5S practices• Monitor the production floor throughout the shift to minimize downtime and lost productivity• Set performance goals and hold employees accountable for achieving them• Prepare performance reports and make recommendations regarding employee advancementWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR• High School Diploma or equivalent• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of related production experience• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills• Strong communication and problem solving abilities• Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a productive work environment• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is an active production floor leadership position.
