About the role
Product Development Engineer Brainstorm with peers, create prototypes for proof or concept, including virtual prototypes in CAD/SolidWorks and 3D printed prototypes. Build and test samples, troubleshoot equipment and processes as part of a team to design, develop, and validate. Determine and execute tests protocols related to the new concepts to assess product performance. Share results through presentations. Perform the tests to assess new product performance and modify design as per results. Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) or process validation supported by data analysis and statistical software. Experience with product development practices. Experience with CAD software for product design. Familiarity with plastics processing (injection molding, extrusion...).Experience with experimental design and data analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Ability to work on multiple projects, meet established deadlines, and follow up on requests for action or information. Ability to collaborate effectively with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Product Management teams. Ability to learn new skills. Demonstrate strong attention to detail. Ability to work semi-independently, with minimal to moderate supervision. Strong sense of responsibility, urgency, enthusiasm, and high energy. Eager to work in a team and cross function departments environment. Good level of English required English-speaking client Remote work possible depending on project needs.
