Role Description: Woolly Bugger Solutions (WBS) is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to serve as a Security Assistant for the STARCOM Headquarters located on Patrick Space Force Base, FL. An active TS/SCI clearance is MANDATORY
Key Responsibilities: Support HQ STARCOM security programs in accordance with DoDM 5200.01, Volumes 1, 2 and 3; AFMAN 16-1404, Volumes 1, 2 and 3; DoDM 5220.22, Volume 2; DoDI 5200.48. Draft local procedures for implementing and administering the Personnel Security Program for STARCOM HQ. Process requests for security clearances for military and civilian personnel. Accomplish duties IAW AFI 16-1401, DoDM 5200.02, AFI 16-1405, AFMAN 16-1404 to DoD 5200.01v 3.Implement and provide security education programs for STARCOM HQPlan and conduct initial training including providing annual training sessions for STARCOM HQ employees. Draft local procedures for implementing and administering the HQ STARCOM Information Security Program Provide guidance for classification and declassification of DoD information that requires protection in the interest of national security. Provide guidance for the correct marking of information. Provide guidance for safeguarding, storage, destruction, transmission, and transportation of classified information. Draft local procedures for implementing and administering the Industrial Security Program. Provide guidance and support for contractor operations supporting STARCOM HQ. Develop industrial security data calls and responses as requested. Draft local procedures for identifying, controlling, implementing and administering the Controlled Unclassified Information program. Provide guidance and support for the proper identification, sharing, marking, safeguarding, storage, dissemination, destruction, and records management. Maintain security training records and deliver Security training records
Qualifications
Required: An active TS/SCI clearance is requiredBA/BS degree BS (5+ years relevant experience may substitute for degree)1-3 years’ experience related to the primary responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to prepare and brief quality products including briefings, point/position papers, and staff packages for senior leaders. Demonstrated ability to assist senior leadership and/or performing functional responsibilities under the oversight of more senior positions. Self-Starter with ability to multi-task and quickly pivot across multiple work responsibilities in a dynamic environment in response to staff taskings. Ability to work with internal and external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers. Methodical mindset: Able to follow troubleshooting protocols, solve problems, prepare recommendations, and clearly document solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent Microsoft Office application skills. The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).Desired: Experience with US Space Force weapon systems and missions Experience in initiating and/or developing Government specified content for USSF programs.
