Substitute Nurse Position in Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Columbus Thank you for your interest in being a substitute nurse in the Catholic schools of the Diocese of Columbus. The Diocese operates 50 schools, many located in smaller towns and rural communities. All exist primarily to teach children to live as Christians and to be happy, productive citizens. All applicants for substitute nurse positions in the schools of the Diocese of Columbus must complete the following: Job Application Have a Current Pupil Services License or Student Monitor Permit Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks Have attended or be willing to attend a VIRTUS Protecting God's Children training Sign the substitute teacher job description and employment agreement and email to Carrie Ramsay at cramsay@columbuscatholic.orgYou will be notified by email when all of these items have arrived and your name is added to our substitute teacher list. Approved substitutes will receive an email mid-July/early August of every school year asking if they wish to remain on the substitute teacher list for the new school year.
