This individual will play an integral role in developing compelling content and communications that bring our brand to life and support business priorities across a variety of channels. Our ideal candidate develops, writes and edits content across thought leadership articles, customer success stories, digital campaigns, advertising and website experiences. They are a skilled storyteller with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Success in this role requires strong interviewing, research, writing and editing capabilities, along with the ability to partner effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the organization. The candidate will manage multiple priorities, build strong cross-functional relationships and apply sound project management practices to coordinate efforts, maintain momentum and ensure projects are delivered with excellence and on schedule. Responsibilities Essential Functions:Write original content and edit existing content that is readable and compelling and implements SEO best practices. Recommend and develop content ideas in collaboration with team members and subject matter experts. Conduct research on various topics and facilitate interviews with relevant stakeholders. Manage multiple projects adhering to production schedules and strict timelines. Cooperate with creative and digital teams for production and performance indicators and analytics to determine the effectiveness of content. Ensure final content adheres to brand and style standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory or Management Responsibilities:N/AQualifications Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or relevant field 3-4 years of experience Experience in copywriting and copy editing Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to be detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to work independently and as part of a teamA creative yet practical mind; ability to turn an idea/concept into practical application Basic knowledge of digital marketing and campaigns and search engine optimization Competencies:Content Excellence: Maintains a commitment to quality, accuracy and brand standards. Special Requirements:In-office opportunity, reporting regularly to corporate office in Hanover, MD.Some travel may be required.
