Job DescriptionSuperintendent – Lead Major Commercial, Industrial, and Federal Site Operations\n\nJob Overview\n\nCompany: Accel 7 JV\nSalary/Pay Rate: $130,000 - $155,000 per year plus Performance Based Bonus\nLocation: Sacramento, California (Onsite) \nJob/Employment Type: Full Time\nProject Scope: Commercial Construction Projects $5M and Above\nMandatory Licenses & Certifications: OSHA 30, CPR, Construction Quality Management for Contractors Class (CQM-C) (preferred)\n\n\nThe Opportunity\nYou will take command of field operations as the lead leader on-site, guiding major commercial and specialized builds from preconstruction through to final close-out. This vital role gives you the autonomy to orchestrate complex schedules, direct diverse crews, and implement strict safety planning on high-stakes projects. You will have a direct impact on project profitability, field efficiency, quality, schedule and the development of your field team.\n\nHow You Will Make an Impact\n\nLead the entire project field team and oversee daily site operations to guarantee safe, cost-effective, and timely completion.\nAssist in developing project staffing, communication frameworks, site logistics plans, and quality control strategies.\nDrive weekly Lean Construction management sessions and lead all site-based subcontractor coordination meetings.\nCreate and update comprehensive project schedules, including detailed monthly updates, narratives, and multi-week look-ahead plans.\nManage all project field labor, coordinate self-perform work, and review monthly labor and cost reports with the Project Manager.\nPrepare manpower and daily reports and photo documentation using Procore.\nDirect the building systems owner-training and manage the comprehensive project close-out and warranty processes.\n\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience working for a General Contractor supervising new or large renovation-type commercial construction projects valued at $10M or above.\nHigh school diploma or GED combined with extensive, demonstrated field leadership experience. 4-year technical degree preferred.\nCurrent 30-hour OSHA construction safety certification completed within the last 3 years along with First Aid and CPR certifications.\nFull working knowledge of commercial construction principles, building codes, and complex MEP+FP building systems.\nStrong proficiency using digital project tools including MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nStrong background negotiating contracts, managing self-perform work, and directing sub-contractor activities.\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications & Experience\n\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.\nProven experience on federal, industrial, research lab, or science and technology building projects based in the U.S.\nExperience in working with EM 385-1-1 safety standards.\n24-hour Fall Protection, and 8-hour Scaffolding Competent Person training.\nACI Concrete Transportation Inspector Certificate\n\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n\nCompetitive annual salary paid on a reliable weekly cycle.\nPerformance-based bonus opportunities to reward high-quality, efficient project delivery.\n401(k) retirement savings program featuring employer matching and profit-sharing incentives.\nComprehensive health and wellness coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.\nRobust work-life balance benefits with paid time off for holidays, vacation, and sick leave.\nProfessional career development through ongoing safety, manufacturer, and technical training tracks.\nProvided technology package including a corporate smartphone or tablet.\nAccess to a company vehicle, annual company trips, outings, and team-building events.\n\n\nAbout Us\nAccel 7 JV delivers premier general contracting services across commercial, industrial, and federal sectors.
