Canaan, CT (Onsite) | Contract We're hiring a Senior Advisor, Employee Relations for a global medical technology company. Reporting to the Associate Director, Employee Relations, you'll advise managers and associates on complex employee relations issues and lead investigations from intake to resolution.
What you'll do: Provide day-to-day ER coaching and advice to senior business unit, functional, and regional leaders, managers, HRBPs, and associates Review corrective action and performance management, and complete termination documentation Identify and analyze legal and compliance risk in employment situations Partner with Labor & Employment Legal on terminations, investigations, and medical and accommodation issues Partner with the Accommodation team on ADA accommodation and workplace restriction processes Conduct internal investigations, document findings, and make recommendations to management Support managers through the annual performance review cycle Track ER trends, identify root causes, and build training and proactive solutions with HRBPs and the Global Learning team What you bring 6+ years of direct Employee Relations experience 6+ years managing complex, high-risk, sensitive cases from intake through investigation and resolution Working knowledge of US employment law, including ADA, FLSA, Title VII, FMLA, and USERRA Experience supporting senior BU, function, or region leadership client groups Experience advising on exempt professionals and senior management. xsgimln Operations experience preferred Strong communication, time management, and judgment with sensitive matters Bachelor's degree preferred (Management, HR, or Psychology), or equivalent experience. Professional membership preferred
