Seeking a Python Quartz Engineer for our client, which requires the Python Developers with strong Quartz experience to join a data-focused development team. This role is centered on backend, head-down development supporting enterprise data platforms rather than building end-user applications. Some experience in core trading platform. Rate Range: $65/hour to $74/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Summary Responsible for analysis and development of application on Quartz trading platform. Expected to build out and support remote risk stack for various asset classes that Global Funding/CIO desk trade. Building out analytics/pricing components needed for FAS133 hedge accounting platform. Knowledge or various financial instruments Bonds, Interest rate swaps, Repo and FX products. Knowledge of key Quartz components like Sandra, Bob, Hugs. Experience of working on Quartz remote risk framework and calculators. Drives and participates in design, development of application and work with multiple teams across bank. Extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. Understanding of generation of risk and P/L for above set of instruments. Advanced knowledge of PythonDesign and development experience in modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, Micro services.
