About the role
Join Kanopy Security, a cybersecurity company who already helps some of the largest enterprises in the world, to address the risks in apps, automations and agents, created by their AI workforce. As we expand our presence across the United States, we are looking for an experienced and driven Director of Sales to lead and grow our US business. This is a senior, hands-on field sales role. The successful candidate will combine broad business understanding and strategic thinking with the ability to build pipeline, meet customers in person, navigate complex enterprise sale cycles, and close deals.
Responsibilities:
Own Kanopy’s sales performance and revenue targets across the United States.
Develop and execute a comprehensive U.S. sales strategy aligned with the company’s broader business objectives.
Lead the full enterprise sales cycle - from prospecting and discovery through evaluation, negotiation, and closing.
Build relationships with CISOs, security leaders, technology executives, procurement teams, and other enterprise decision-makers.
Understand each prospect’s business priorities, security challenges, organizational structure, and buying process.
Represent Kanopy at conferences, industry events, executive meetings, and partner activities.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, including experience in senior sales roles such as Sales Director, Regional Sales Director, or Enterprise Account Executive.
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets and closing complex enterprise deals.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in cybersecurity, preferably in Application Security or a closely related domain - mandatory.
- Demonstrated success selling across multiple U.S. regions
- Experience building pipeline independently and creating new business in an early-stage or category-creating environment.
- Experience working with an Israeli company
- Strong command of CRM and prospecting tools, such as HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Highly independent, proactive, and results-oriented, with strong ownership and execution skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the United States for customer meetings and events.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
