We're hiring at Diamond Concrete Sawing. We're looking for a Construction Estimator & Inside Sales, full-time and in-office in Grand Rapids. It's an estimating job first and a sales job second. Every quote at Diamond goes through this seat, whether it comes from our outside sales rep, a bid board, or a contractor calling in cold. Most customers will get their first impression of us from you. You don't need to know concrete cutting. We'll teach you the work, the equipment and our pricing. What you do need: Experience doing takeoffs and pricing for a trade subcontractor or construction company The ability to read a plan and spot what's missing Comfort working bid boards and a CRM (we use Hub Spot)The habit of following up on every open quote until it's won or lostA calm, clear voice on the phone with a superintendent who has thirty seconds to spare We're a family-owned company of about 30 people, cutting concrete since 1974. Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
