About the role
Operations Specialist Client Account Profile The Operations Specialist Client Account Profile is responsible for ensuring new client accounts are properly established and existing accounts are accurately maintained within internal systems. This individual will support the account opening, maintenance, and closing processes while partnering closely with internal Client Service teams. The specialist will develop knowledge of business lines, the sub-custodian network, operational workflows, and systems including Unified Account File (UAF), Keystone, and Fircosoft.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up new client accounts accurately and efficiently.
Process changes and maintenance requests for existing accounts.
Close accounts that are no longer required.
Code and enter information from new account forms into multiple internal systems.
Review account information for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
Identify discrepancies that could create operational or client risk and work to resolve them.
Escalate problem items and exceptions when appropriate.
Provide internal clients with timely updates regarding account openings and maintenance requests.
Partner closely with the Client Service Group to ensure quick and accurate account setup.
Communicate professionally and constructively when resolving issues.
Provide a high level of internal client service.
Manage multiple requests and priorities while meeting established deadlines.
Develop an understanding of how the account profile function impacts broader business operations.
Learn how internal systems and workflows interact across teams.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce operational risk, and increase productivity.
Assist the team with implementing process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).Strong PC/computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize competing responsibilities.
Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
