Location: North Branch, MI
Pay: $14.48/per hour
Shift: Day Shift
Summary:
The Yard Receiver is responsible for processing, checking, verifying, and inventorying materials received in the yard during the week. The Yard Receiver coordinates materials and finished goods, storage and inventory levels with the store manager. They move these materials and finish goods to appropriate storage areas by using a fork truck or pallet jack. The Yard Receiver always ensures that shipping and receiving functions are completed in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Process materials that are received and move the materials to storage areas to restock shelves as needed. Identify any shipping errors or discrepancies Report and damaged or missing goods to store manager Operate company forklift and report any maintenance issues or concerns Ensures that all work areas and storage areas are clean, shoppable and well maintained Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of one or more years of experience with a Hi-LoKnowledge of the lumber/hardware industry is a plus Familiarity with retail stores and similar procedures Good organizational, quality control and communication skills Work Environment and
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift upwards of 10lbs. constantly, 20lbs frequently and/or up to 50lbs. occasionally Mostly Outdoor Receiving. Can be in inclement weather at times Repetitive motion constantly including, stooping, reaching, lifting and walking.\nCompany
