About the role

Supporting federal and contractor teams within a large program management office, the full-time Operational Requirements/Acquisition Documentation Specialist will review, edit, and develop documents to ensure compliance with DHS, CBP, and USBP standards while translating operational needs into actionable documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Review, edit, and refine various written materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and readiness for leadership review Develop content that accurately captures operational requirements and acquisition considerations tailored to stakeholder needs Ensure all documents comply with applicable formatting, style, and document control requirements for official communications
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English, Management, Engineering, or a related field; 5-10 years of relevant experience Proficiency with the DHS Acquisition Lifecycle and related technical documentation Proven technical writing and editing experience Experience with Microsoft 365, particularly advanced skills in Word's Track Changes and document formatting Ability to pass a government background investigation; U.S. citizenship required
