Retirement Plan Specialist / Advisor Growing independent wealth management firm Ellicott City/Columbia area, MD (In-office)A $2B+ independent wealth management firm seeks an experienced retirement plan professional to take ownership of and grow its retirement plan practice across 401(k), cash balance, and other employer-sponsored plans.
What You’ll Do: Take ownership of existing retirement plan relationships while expanding the practice Pursue new opportunities through existing clients, firm relationships, and outside lead sources Connect with prospects, set meetings, present solutions, and close new business Manage ongoing plan sponsor relationships and build scalable processes What’s Offered$100,000–$150,000 base + up to $50,000 performance-based upside Strong internal marketing and advisory resources What You Bring 5+ years of retirement plan experience preferred Strong plan sponsor and plan design knowledge Proactive, entrepreneurial, client-facing approach Bachelor’s Degree Must be within a 45-minute commute to the Ellicott City/Columbia area, MD
