Schedule: Monday through Friday (some weekends)How you'll make an impact in this roleThe clinical care responsibilities consists of: Provide routine prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care within scope of practice Perform comprehensive maternal assessments including: Blood pressure monitoring Fetal heart tone assessments Weight and nutritional evaluations Prenatal risk screenings Postpartum assessments Conduct routine womenâs health screenings and education Identify high-risk pregnancies and coordinate escalation of care with OB/GYN or Maternal Fetal Medicine providers Support continuity of care from prenatal through postpartum periods Provide lactation education and breastfeeding support Assist with family planning counseling and educationWhat minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Midwife credentialed from the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
