Role Description:
The Office Assistant role is a full-time, remote position responsible for supporting daily administrative operations. This role includes managing phone calls, responding to inquiries, and directing communication to appropriate team members. The Office Assistant will handle clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling, and maintaining digital records to ensure accurate and organized documentation. Additional responsibilities may include preparing basic reports, assisting with correspondence, and coordinating virtual meetings. The person in this role will collaborate with staff across the organization to support efficient service delivery and smooth office workflows.
Qualifications:
Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to interact professionally with employees, families, and partners. Proficiency in Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage scheduling, data entry, documentation, and general office support tasks. Familiarity with Office Equipment and common office software tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, virtual meeting platforms).Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with excellent time management and organizational skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling confidential information and records. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or experience in office administration or customer service is beneficial. Prior experience in an administrative, office support, or customer service role is preferred.
