About the role
- The ability to stand continuously and walk for an entire shift.
- The ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, hold, push/pull, carry, flip and maneuver tools and raw material/product of various length and weight.
- Frequently reaching and holding arms and weight overhead.
- May require crouching, bending twisting, stooping, and squatting
- Climb or balance frequently.
- Capable of lifting 60lbs or more repeatedly throughout the day.
- Close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Open shop environment -- may be exposed to cold and hot workspaces.
- Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and welding flash.
- Noise in the work environment is generally very loud.
