About the role

Safety And Production Supervisor Ensure all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and inspections are followed. This includes daily safety dock audits of the shipping and receiving docks. Lead daily start-up meetings and communicate production priorities. Train, coach, and cross-train team members as needed. Assign daily work and hold team members accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and attendance. Ensure production lines have the required materials, supplies, and containers throughout the shift. Review production schedules and anticipate material needs to prevent shortages and downtime. Maintain accurate inventory, material identification, traceability, and documentation. Ensure proper storage, handling, labeling, and segregation of materials. Monitor material usage, shortages, scrap, inventory discrepancies, and downtime. Maintain 5S, cleanliness, organization, and proper material presentation. Ensure compliance with Quality Management System requirements and Customer Specifications. Assist with problem solving, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. Communicate production, material, quality, and employee issues to the supervisor and escalate when necessary. Conduct effective shift handoffs and communicate outstanding issues. Support audits, inventory counts, and continuous improvement activities. Follow all Quality, Environmental, and company policies and procedures. Maintain acceptable attendance and work overtime as required. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
