About the role
SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Consultant for a long-term contract opportunity. This individual will serve as a hands-on recruiting lead, partnering closely with internal leadership and hiring managers to manage recruiting activities across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions from intake through offer and onboarding coordinationPartner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, timelines, and candidate profilesDevelop and execute recruiting strategies to identify and attract qualified candidatesSource, screen, interview, and assess candidates across a variety of functional areas and levelsManage job postings, candidate activity, interview workflows, and recruiting documentation within the company's ATS/recruiting portalCoordinate and manage relationships with external staffing and recruiting agenciesReview agency submissions and ensure appropriate communication and follow-up throughout the recruiting processServe as a primary point of contact for recruiting activity and provide regular updates on search progressCoordinate interviews and facilitate feedback between candidates and hiring teamsMaintain accurate candidate records, recruiting metrics, and status reportingSupport offer development, candidate closing, and pre-employment processesEnsure recruiting practices and documentation are consistent, professional, and compliant with applicable employment requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, workflows, candidate experience, and hiring efficiencyWork independently while collaborating closely with the internal Talent Acquisition/HR teamQUALIFICATIONS5+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting or talent acquisition experienceDemonstrated experience independently managing multiple searches simultaneouslyStrong sourcing, candidate assessment, interviewing, and closing skillsExperience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior-level stakeholdersExperience working with and managing external staffing/recruiting agenciesStrong experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting portalsAbility to operate as a hands-on individual contributor and take ownership of recruiting activityStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential searches and candidate informationPharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare industry recruiting experience is a plus but not required
