Our client a Japanese industrial materials manufacturer is seeking an Account Manager for their Schaumburg office.

Salary: Depending on Experience of candidate between 55-85k Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through responsive and professional service. Achieve or surpass assigned sales goals and performance objectives. Prepare and provide accurate, timely pricing and quotations based on customer requirements. Coordinate with internal departments to support efficient order processing, delivery, and customer transactions. Keep customer information, sales activities, and communication records current in internal systems. Provide regular updates to management regarding sales performance, customer needs, and market opportunities. Expand business opportunities by developing and maintaining a network of contacts and potential leads. Track customer payment status and work with the finance team to support timely collections.
Requirements: Background in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles. College degree is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Confident in customer discussions and commercial negotiations. Comfortable with Microsoft Office and business software. Self-motivated and effective in a multicultural work environment. Familiarity with Japanese business practices is preferred. Japanese proficiency is a plus.
