About the role

Order Manager We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Order Manager to oversee distributor and customer orders from initial entry through final delivery. This role serves as the primary point of contact throughout the order lifecycle, ensuring exceptional customer service, effective cross-functional coordination, and timely order fulfillment. Compensation
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Environment: 100% onsite
Contract Duration: Potential for extension based on business needs
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, modifications, delivery timelines, and issue resolution. Manage orders from receipt through shipment, ensuring accuracy and on-time execution. Partner closely with production, planning, scheduling, supply chain, logistics, and distribution teams to facilitate successful order fulfillment. Act as the voice of the customer by coordinating communications and resolving escalated issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Monitor customer service performance metrics and recommend process improvements. Analyze service trends and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Document, track, and resolve customer concerns while ensuring appropriate follow-up. Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives related to customer service and order management.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.3+ years of experience in customer service, order management, customer support, or a related field. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field. Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, construction, HVAC, or distribution environments. Experience with ERP, CRM, or order management systems such as SAP or Salesforce. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated sense of urgency, accountability, and customer-focused mindset. Experience coordinating scheduling, inventory, warehousing, or logistics operations. Interest in long-term career growth and relocation opportunities.
Additional Information: Standard daytime schedule (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM).Fully onsite position. Opportunity for assignment extension based on business needs.
