Facilities and Equipment: The Texas Oncology- Midlandpractice provides a full range of external beam radiation therapy procedures. Equipment in use at the Midland location includes: Varian True Beam, GE RT Lightspeed CT scanner, Elekta micro Selectron HDR, Oncentra TPS for HDR treatment planning, Eclipse TPS, MOSAIQ ROIS, Rad Calc, Mapcheck 3, SNC Routine, IC Profiler, and 3DS scanning system Responsibilities
Preferred Experience: A working knowledge: Varian linear accelerators Elekta/Nucletron microselectron HDR afterloader and Oncentra TPSEclipse TPSARIA and MOSAIQ Record and Verify systemHDR, SBRT and SRS procedures Radiation Safety Officer duties for both x-ray registration and RAM licenses Qualifications The successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Medical physics from an accredited college or university Graduate from a CAMPEP accredited residency programABR board certification (or equivalent)Full Texas licensureHDR planning and treatment experience The ability to be added to the RAM license Experience with SRS, SBRT, and HDRStrong organization and oral / written communication skills The ability to travel on an occasion, as needed, basis to support the sister clinic in Odessa, Texas (20 Miles)
