About the role

Pop Culture & Meme Intern (Social Media) - PAID Good Roomies is about four broke, dysfunctional Asian American roomies who build a life together, becoming each other's worst therapists...and best friends. We’re looking for a college student who lives on the internet. Basically, someone who understands memes, TikTok, Instagram, pop culture, fandoms, and what makes people send something to their group chat. Someone who has a strong sense of humor and a keen on eye on making social posts. Think: @evanrosskatz
What you’ll do: Watch our episode, then take clips from Good Roomies and identify moments that can become memes and social posts. Create memes, reaction posts, screenshots, captions, and other shareable content. Pitch funny ideas for how we can turn moments from the show into content people want to share. Help develop the show’s online voice and personality. Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone with great comedic instincts and an understanding of what people actually share online.
Bonus: Have experience with Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, or other editing tools College students and recent graduates encouraged to apply.
