About the role
Position Summary:
This is a seasonal, hourly position responsible for welcoming guests, answering inquiries, and managing bag storage operations across indoor lodge spaces and outdoor heated areas. This role serves as a key customer service contact, assisting guests with resort information, securing personal belongings, and supporting the s'mores firepit station.
Reports To: Mountain Services Manager and Assistant General Manager of Mountain Operations
Duties & Responsibilities:
Warmly greet guests upon arrival in lodge and base areas, assessing their needs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort offerings, including ticket information, mountain coaster operations, food & beverage hours, ski lesson times, and lift schedules.
Communicate directly with housekeeping regarding cleanliness and restroom maintenance needs.
Receive, fill out claim checks for, tag, and store guest baggage securely in cubbies.
Ensure the safety and security of stored guest property.
Retrieve and return baggage to resort guests efficiently via the ticket return system.
Assemble, package, and distribute s'mores kits to guests.
Assist with setting up, operation, and maintenance of the s’mores firepit station.
Maintain clean and stocked preparation and seating areas.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be at least 14 years old.
Weekend and holiday period availability required.
Comfortable working in varied environments, including heated indoor lodge areas, a heated outdoor bag check structure, and outdoor firepit spaces.
Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills suited for a friendly, fast-paced environment.
Prior customer service or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
