About the role
- Lead and support nursing staff while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence
- Coordinate resident admissions, discharges, transfers, and clinical care
- Make rounds, assess resident conditions, and respond to changes in health status
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and daily shift operations
- Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, infection prevention standards, HIPAA, and Fairmount policies
- Provide leadership during emergencies and serve as Charge Nurse when needed
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions
