About the role

Job TitleKalama School District is seeking applicants for a position that will involve greeting guests courteously and professionally, arriving approximately one hour before the event start time, ensuring all tickets are valid and correspond to the correct date and event, protecting ticket integrity, accurately reconciling cash transactions & using electronic card readers, professionally collaborating with all event staff, and working quickly and efficiently during high-volume situations. The applicant must pass a State and Federal background check and possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules. They should also be able to communicate respectfully to administration, staff, students, and parents. Skills in reading, understanding, and following safety rules and regulations, establishing and maintaining effective working relations with students and staff, performing duties with awareness of District requirements and Board policies, and working independently and communicating proactively are also required. Rate of Pay: $18.88 - 21.52/hour (DOE)
Hours: Approximately 200 hours/year (includes about 70 extra-curricular events throughout the year) Total weekly hours may not exceed 40 hours per week.
Location: Kalama Middle/High Gym and Stadium
Benefits: This position is not eligible for health or retirement benefits
Reports to: Athletic Director
