Job Description: Job Description Model Linen is looking for a level 4 Production Employee with specific responsibilities in the soil slinger area. The position is Monday - Friday and starts at $18.00 per hour. After 90 days the employee will receive a 1.00 increase ($19.00).Position: Soil Slinger / Soil Area
Position Level: 4 Production Goal: Maintain productivity standard of 95% and 100% of fullfillment of all mat and mop loads. Lifting: up to 60 lbs. Pushing and pulling carts.
Basic Job Description: Provide and stage product for washfloor.
Duties: This position requires employees to work in a soiled product area from restaurants, hotels, and clinics. Understand correct and safe operations of all equipment. Utilize all equipment in a safe productive manner Work as a team member to achieve customer expectations and maintain all production standards. Ensure area is prepared with carts and slings for soil sorters to sort product by product type and size. Replace carts and slings as needed to keep line moving. Push cart on a large floor scale and weigh product to washing standard. Stage product for hoisting until you have four bags. Label sling with it’s appropriate tag to let washfloor know what is in the sling. Program a staging line in the overhead staging system. Hoist product in the air using precise safety controls. Maintain the cleanliness and organizatoin of area at all times. Wear appropriate PPE as described below. Maintain all slings and carts for safety.
