About the role
Warehouse Manager The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing inventory, leading warehouse staff, and ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day warehouse activities and employee performance.
Oversee inventory control, receiving, shipping, and storage operations.
Schedule and supervise warehouse staff.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
Train and mentor employees on warehouse processes and safety practices.
Maintain accurate inventory records and operational reports.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong inventory management and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to lift up to 50-70 pounds when required.
