Commercial Roofing Safety Coordinator

Location: Columbus, OH

Compensation: $75,000 - 90,000 + (based on experience) Tiello is partnering with a well-established and growing commercial roofing contractor in Columbus, OH to identify a Commercial Roofing Safety Coordinator to own and lead all safety operations across multiple active job sites. This company operates statewide across commercial roofing and new construction markets and is scaling fast — making safety leadership a critical priority as they grow. As Construction Safety Coordinator, you will be the company's primary safety leader, responsible for OSHA compliance, training program development, jobsite audits, and incident prevention across multiple concurrent projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who can work directly alongside field leadership and drive a strong safety culture from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities: Own and enforce OSHA compliance across all active commercial job sites Develop, implement, and manage company-wide safety training programs Conduct regular jobsite audits, inspections, and risk assessments Lead incident prevention initiatives and manage incident investigations and reporting Collaborate directly with field leadership, foremen, and project managers to reinforce safety culture Oversee safety compliance across multiple concurrent projects and locations Maintain and update safety policies, procedures, and documentation Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and safety-related inquiries Monitor industry regulations and ensure the company remains current with all compliance requirements
