Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Status: Full-Time, Non-exempt
Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
Ensuring that we meet and exceed all service and quality expectations for each Oxxford customer.
Job Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service and call handling for Oxxford wholesal and Tom James orders and sales inquiries
- Manage email and voice mail inquiries, providing outstanding response via outbound call or email as appropriate
- Route calls to designated individuals and departments when necessary
- Communicate effectively with other departments in servicing customers
- Maintain proper records in company databases
- Complete assignments and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Educate customers on apparel offerings and unique marketing strategies
- Prepare daily status reports as necessary for analyzing and follow upKeep abreast of daily incoming orders; review the orders and send confirmations as appropriate
- Accurately document all order changes onto order hard copy forms
- Work closely with the Order Processing Team on customer questions that may arise, paperwork, and questions about orders
- Any other duties deemed necessary by manager
Job Requirements:
- Garment industry experience
- Extraordinary call handling and customer service skills·
- Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Outgoing personality with the ability to build relationships with customers, sales associates, and coworkers
- Excellent email, grammar and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)Ability to work in a team environment, think creatively, and perform with enthusiasm
- Must possess the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must demonstrate proven experience in meeting goals and deadlines
- Education Requirement
- High school diploma or GEDWork Experience
- Three to five years of administrative work experience in garment industry (required)
- Customer service experience (preferred)
- Experience with AS/400 and Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)
