About the role
- Program and operate an LVD 6kW Puma fiber laser using Cadman software
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for a Trumpf punch press
- Program and operate a Trumpf TruBend press brake using Boost software
- Set up and operate Amada press brakes for forming operations
- Operate Haeger hardware insertion machines for installation of fasteners and hardware
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate part production
- Set up machines, tooling, and materials for production runs
- Monitor production processes and perform in-process and final quality inspections
- Troubleshoot programming or machine issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve workflows and reduce waste
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, organized work environment

- 2+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and CNC programming
- Proficiency with Cadman and Boost CAD/CAM software
- Experience operating LVD laser systems, Trumpf punch and press brakes, and Amada press brakes
- Experience with hardware insertion equipment such as Haeger machines
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Technical degree or certification in manufacturing, machining, or related field
- Experience in a job shop or high-mix manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
